Favorite thing about emergency medicine:Â I love the variety-of patients, of procedures, and of the medicine. EM allows me to be creative when thinking about a particularly difficult case both in the medicine and the hands on treatment.
Why Kaweah for residency:Â I knew I wanted to do community EM and work with an underserved population. Being back in the Golden State was just icing on the cake.
Favorite day-off activities:Â Roller skating, crocheting, getting cuddles from my cat George
Previous life before medicine:Â Math teacher and roller derby girl
Future goals and dreams:Â Aside from being the best EM doc I can be, I am currently working on roller skating in every state! Only 42 more to go.
