Favorite thing about emergency medicine: The pace, unpredictability, procedures, and people!
Why Kaweah for residency: I was really impressed by the supportive atmosphere, diverse pathology, volume, and overall friendliness of everyone at this program. It just felt like the perfect fit for me! I knew that by choosing this program, I would get the support and experience I need to become a top-notch emergency medicine physician
Favorite day-off activities: Hiking with my pup Mack, Skiing & Snowboarding, Line Dancing, Off-roading, Hanging at the river with friends and family
Previous life before medicine: I worked a lot! I was an undergraduate teaching assistant and a substitute teacher. During the winter months I started as a ski lift operator before working with ski patrol and got to spend a year with terrain park staff on the mountain
Future goals or dreams: Become a well-rounded doctor, spend more time outdoors, ski at least 100 days per season
Best place you’ve traveled: The Eastern Sierra
Best meal you’ve eaten: Fried green tomatoes
