Why Kaweah for residency: Strong sense of camaraderie among the residents and faculty. It’s a tight-knit program where I knew my education and wellbeing would be a priority. I also wanted to work at a place like Kaweah that serves those with limited access to healthcare. I also like the close proximity to parks like Yosemite and Sequoia and friends/family in Los Angeles
Favorite day-off activities: Music, basketball, exploring the outdoors, listening to podcasts, weight lifting, cooking
Previous life before medicine: I spent 2 years before medical school working at the Bellagio resort in Las Vegas in the department of workforce management
Best place you’ve traveled: New York City
Best meal you’ve eaten: anything from Bavel restaurant in the arts district in downtown LA
