Favorite thing about emergency medicine: I love the constant hustle and bustle, and the wide range of issues you see on a daily basis
Why Kaweah for residency:Â The resident and faculty culture is second to none. It truly felt like a family environment from day one
Favorite day-off activities: Spending time outside with my fiancée and mini schnauzer Duncan, including heading out west to the coast!
Previous life before medicine:Â I worked as a movie theater employee for 3 years. I can make a mean bowl of popcorn!
Future goals and dreams:Â Working at both a rural and community emergency department as life allows
Favorite place you’ve traveled: Spain! Beautiful sights and some great tours
Favorite meal you’ve eaten: Nothing beats a great Filet Mignon from Jocko’s (Nipomo, CA)

Favorite movie:Â Recently, Everything Everywhere All At Once. Blew my mind
Special interests within emergency medicine:Â Procedure based medicine, as well as the primary care interface that is being seen more and more in the ED
Favorite quote or words you live by: Everything will be ok in the end. If it’s not ok right now, it’s not the end.
