Why did you choose to work & teach at Kaweah? I enjoy watching the steady growth learners make over time, and knowing I helped contribute to that growth
Favorite things about Visalia: It’s a vibrant city with lots to do, zero traffic, and friendly people
Previous life before medicine:Â I was a beach lifeguard for OC Lifeguards each summer for 7 years throughout high school and college
Best day-off activities:Â Hanging out with my wife and Hugsy (our dog)
Future goals/dreams:Â To travel every corner of the globe with my wife. To help mentor the next generation of EM physicians in the Central Valley and beyondy
Favorite place you’ve traveled: Basically anywhere in Italy! Tied for first would be Bellagio (on Lake Como) and Montepulciano

Special Interests within emergency medicine:Â Cardiovascular disease! I almost went into internal medicine to be a cardiologist
Any other interesting facts? I ran cross country and track throughout high school and college, and ran on the Santa Monica track club just before starting medical school. I also helped coach my high school team a couple summers while I was in college
