Undergraduate major:Â Aquatic Biology

Favorite thing about emergency medicine:Â Everyday is unpredictable, and you have a unique opportunity to treat every type of patient
Why did you choose Kaweah? Kaweah felt like a family during the interview process, and as a newer program, there is an opportunity to shape the residency. Also, the patient population is diverse! As the main hospital covering a huge territory, the Emergency Department at Kaweah Delta felt like a place where I could make a difference.
Best day off activities:Â Hiking, running, cooking/eating, and going to the beach, and hanging out with my awesome dog, Leo.
Special interests within emergency medicine:Â Preventative medicine and Pediatrics
Future goals/dreams:Â Be a great ED physician, incorporate nutrition and lifestyle into prevention programs to reduce patient visits to the ED for preventable things, and run the Boston Marathon
Random fact about yourself:Â I am SCUBA certified, and used to SCUBA for research on the Channel Islands!
