Previous life before medicine:Â No prior other career. Medical school on US Naval program so spent 5 years serving country in various capacities, primarily Flight Surgeon on USS Nimitz
Future goals & dreams:Â Stay close to family (work-life balance), stay healthy, see kids mature into productive, happy adults contributing to society, and balancing travel and relaxation.
Special interests within emergency medicine: Emergency Ultrasound in all of its multiple applications. All Ketamine related uses and effective, non-opioid pain control. Trauma and airway
Interesting fact about yourself: Have a private pilot’s license though not actively flying
